We don't know whether you're going to be boys or girls or whatever, but I do know that I will love you unconditionally. Eddie looked at Talia, then at the baby bump. His girlfriend was five months pregnant, and her stomach was overly large from carrying two children. Talia was fast asleep, and Eddie was wide awake. "I feel like I'm on Friends," Talia laughed. A new chapter of my life is starting now." "I guess that is something to look forward to. "With a big window overlooking the city, like you've always wanted." "Your home is waiting for you," Eddie smiled. "With more space for the babies and a nicer neighbourhood." "We're going to a better apartment," Eddie reminded her. "Goodbye, old apartment," Talia sighed, turning off the lights of her old apartment and closing the door for the final time. "You had better appreciate me."Įddie smiled and kissed her lazily. "I'm giving birth to your children," Talia pointed out. "Yes, because throwing a tantrum and lying amongst all the pieces was 'doing the basic bits'," Talia replied, patting Eddie's shoulder. Two hours later, he was eating his words as Talia finished building both cribs, standing back and giving Eddie a smug smile. "Let me have a stab at it."Įddie threw the booklet at her. "I mean, they're in English but they make no sense." "Why are the instructions not in English?" Eddie asked, waving the booklet. Scattered pieces of the cribs Eddie was building were everywhere, and her boyfriend lay in the middle of the room, a defeated expression on his face as he found himself surrounded by furniture. I asked you to build the cribs, not cause World War Three," Talia said with a low whistle, looking around the room. "You'll still be beautiful," Eddie promised, leaning forwards to kiss Talia's temple. "I know," Talia sighed, resting her hands on her stomach. "Not only do I have to give birth twice, but I have to do double the shopping for the little rats." Well, Eddie Brock, I'm going to kick you in the shins for jinxing me." "You were the one that was like 'I want loads of kids'. "If I wasn't sitting down right now, I'd have fallen over," Talia admitted, looking at Eddie. "THERE'S TWO OF THEM?!" Talia exclaimed, as she and Eddie sat in the hospital with Toby doing an ultrasound.
